FCOA Collaborators

FCOA collaborates with members around the world.

Many of our members earned their trainings and ratings trough collaboration. If your good for FCOA, FCOA will be good for you.

You might be a swimmer that wants to become a diver or a divemaster that wants to become a scuba instructor. Either way we can always find ways to collaborate.

Within your capacity you will participate in teaching other members and you will help to spread our mission among the less privileged.

All our trainings start with freediving. If you want to become a scuba diver you will first have to complete at least FCOA lesson 1 till 6.  The scuba training gets given under CMAS, that is one of the oldest scuba diving organizations known for its high-quality trainings.

With FCOA everything starts with freediving, and that starts with homework on fcoa.online, this adds to safety and boosts the confidence of our members. Once freedivers have mastered FCOA lesson 1 to 6 they can start with Scuba diving. Many of our active members get sponsored or very economic Scuba lessons in exchange for helping us teach our bigger groups.

During the first 10 days of this Vipassanā inspired collaboration you will undergo your base training, while there is always a lead coach present, a big part of your training gets conducted by coaches that just finished their own base training. After your 10 day base training you will get more responsibilities and you will participate in teaching freediving to: tourists, to locals, to children and to your replacement coaches.

Your tent space is sponsored by FCOA. Vegan ingredients will be available During the first day, we will cook for you since you are our guest. After that we will take turns cooking or cook together. We try to grow the majority of our ingredients in our garden and maintaining the garden is also something we do together. We also harvest seagrapes (called lato) and mushroom seaweed to supplement our diet.

During your collaboration with us we will encourage you to respect life and eat vegan. The divehouse and mission boat are strictly vegan areas. Yet we are walking distance from shops and restaurants.

Your sleeping space is either in the divehouse or on our mission boat: "Blue Orion". If you wish more privacy, then camping on the beach or taking a hotel room or guesthouse room is an option.

Our diving days start at first light and end at sunset. You will be diving at
